Alexander and Amelia are gorgeous twins whose Christening I had the pleasure to photograph.
I arrived at their home to meet their parents Dianna and Nick in various stages of preparation for Alexander & Amelias Christening. It was great to see the whole family around to help and support them with the big event. I know from experience how much of a handful one child can be and as much as I always thought it would be cool to have twins, I can only imagine how much work is involved if you double everything.
Bathtime was like a clockwork procession; entertain Amelia, undress Alexander, wash him, dry him, dress him up and then keep him entertained.
Next up, Amelia’s bath followed much the same routine while Alexander was kept amused.
Finally the twins were ready, and the family kept the twins entertained while Nick and Diana got a few moments to get themselves organised. The details and duplication around the house for the twins was a delight!
The arrival of the God-Parents and extended family heralded food, drinks and the exchange of gifts. It was evident that Alexander was definitely a chip off the old(er) block, and that the twins were in good hands!
Finally the twins were lead out of the house and it was off to Church for their big day. Sydenham Macedonian Orthodox Church was welcoming and readily set up for the twins with the 2 change tables close by.
Through out the ceremony, Alexander (who had fallen asleep just before entering the church) and Amelia both showed suitable levels of intrigue, amusement and acceptance as they were Christened.
Once there ceremony was complete, there were to obligatory photos in the the church with the proud new God-Parents, along with Nick, Diana and all of the family and friends that had come to witness the ceremony and celebration.
The reception was held at Lakeside Receptions and it was evident that no effort had been spared to ensure that Alexander and Amelia were the center of the celebration. The colours and attention to detail was a stand out. Music was supplied by Medena and they ensured that there was plenty of it, resting only when the dancing was interupted by food and speeches.

Hi,
I’m hoping to find a photographer willing to photograph my sons christening/1st bday celebrations on the 25th jan 2014.
Here are some details for the day. We’d like pre-ceremony photos taken at our place in Hampton park, followed by the ceremony at St George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Thornbury as well as coverage of the reception in Narre warren south.
Is this something you could assist with please?
Regards
